Here it begins, more than ten years ago, on a mountain at dawn, taking this picture, that would drive me to go further and further in the art of photography.
At that time, I had only a Kodak compact camera, which was rather lower-end and already outdated at the moment, and I used it in full auto of course. Hence a lot of waste, but it would be unfair to blame the camera for all of them, as I was also very inexperienced at the time.
I’ve kept only few images of this time: as my quality requirements grew, a lot of images, which seemed good before, became perceived as not-that-much good finally and found their way to the bin. But this one, as a few others, has stayed. I forgive its low definition, because I still like its composition and colours.
